GB, Australia, Latvia, Mexico, Netherlands and Turkey will compete in the six-team tournament at the Dumfries Bowl, running from 21st to 27th January.

Head Coach, Angela Taylor, said: “We are all really sad for Chloe that she has had to withdraw and she will be missed for sure.

“But we said at the time of selection that it was a very competitive squad and Zara was unlucky to miss out in the first place.

“There is some great depth in the women’s game at the moment and that’s proven by the depth we have in our replacements.”

Reserves – Netminder: Scarlett Richardson (Solihull Vixens/Sheffield Steelhawks). Defence:  Rhiannon Price (Convoy Academy, Hockey Training Institute), Caitlin Stocks (Sheffield Steelhawks/Whitley Bay Beacons). Forwards: Sophie Games (Romford/Queen Bees), Keeley Walsh (Haringey Hounds/Guildford).
