ROSTER CHANGE FOR GB FOR WOMEN’S FOUR NATIONS IN POLAND

Great Britain have made a roster change for next month’s Women’s Four Nations with Ruby Newlands replacing Jessica Sprules.

GB will face Denmark, Italy and hosts Poland from Tuesday 7th to Thursday 9th February.

The four-team round-robin tournament is being held at the Jantor Ice Rink.

Head Coach, Mike Clancy, said: “It is disappointing to lose Jessica and we will miss her for sure.

“But Ruby was unlucky to miss out in the first place and this is a great opportunity for her.

“Ruby is a great young talent and is part of our future, so we are excited to have her go to Poland.”

Reserves – Netminders: Michelle Franklin (Solihull Vixens), Lucy Gruber (Guildford Lightning / Invicta Mustangs), Emma Nichols (Sodertalje, Sweden). Defence: Megan Burton (Solihull Vixens), Estelle Ip (Guildford Lightning), Amy Robery (Streatham).
